I love the food here, but that's about it. Any time you walk in here it always feels cramped never enough room. The sanitation of the dinning area is nasty. There is food all over the floors and you are just waiting for someone to come and clean it. Good food bad atmosphere. Go drive thru

Buckhead Cafe is a fresh spin on fast food- I would compare it to a locally owned Panera. You walk up to the counter to order and then they buzz your pager to let you know when your food is ready. They have soups, sandwiches, burgers, and pizza. I've only ever gotten the portobello burger with the homemade chips. DELICIOUS!

The last three times we have visited this establishment, they have either messed up our order, or it was such low quality that we had to tell them to fix it. It is also pricey for the amount of food that one receives. It's a mediocre place to take a date night to, but other than that, there are much better places to spend your money.

Poor customer service. Misleading and complicated menu. And... a yummy bone in my chicken wrap -- GAGG! . I won't EVER go back.

I have always liked Buckhead Cafe. It is not a 5 star, but has been a 3, sometimes 4, star for some time. This time I was disappointed. I got the chicken salad, which is on whole wheat with bacon, lettuce and tomato. Normally one of my favorites. This time I had to throw half away. In the first half I kept biting into pieces of cartilage which totally freaks me out, Ugh!!!! Could the cook not see this when making the salad? I will not be back for sometime and will not have the chicken salad again!!!

The majority of my friends in southern Kentucky would probably kill me for not giving Buckhead Cafe a four or five star rating. This relatively new restaurant offers great food choices including wood fired pizzas and wraps, juicy burgers, and homemade pastries and desserts. When you place your order, you're given a pager; you return to the food counter to pick up your meal when your pager lights up. I really like the wood fired buffalo wrap. Fresh and very tasty! I hear the Paradise Cheeseburger is also an excellent choice. I've been here a few times, and the food has always been good. However, nothing has convinced me that this is worthy of four or five stars. I think it might be somewhat overrated.

Buckhead Cafe is a locally owned and operated establishment that is owned by the same folks that are owners of Mariah's restaurant located in downtown Bowling Green. Buckhead has a variety of menu options of sandwiches, single entrees with a side, and wood fired pizzas. What makes this place stand out is indeed the unique way in how the food is cooked. As one will learn when visiting their web site at buckheadcafe.net the food is cooked in wood fired brick oven. This makes the crust on their pizzas especially crispy and the pizza tasty. Though, the roasted chicken with a side of kettle chips or fruit is not too bad either. The menu on the wall by the cash register counter can be a bit daunting from which to choose food, but I am sure that is because the place is trying to cater to a wide variety of eating preferences. The menu has entrees that come with a side item but if one wants to make a substitution for a different side then there is a minimal up charge. The drinks are separate but this is not any different from other locations of its kind so there is no surprise there. The real surprise, as a another reviewer mentioned, is that yes for such an upscale looking establishment as this is it is entirely self serve, with the exception of course of them fixing one's food in the kitchen. One does receive a pager that buzzes when the food is ready and goes to retrieve the order that was placed. This whole experience makes the end of one's dining experience a bit ambiguous in regards to whether or not one should leave a small tip. Because after all, there is no server refilling drinks or taking away dirty dishes while one is in the moment of dining but the tables do eventually get cleaned by someone. I suppose it is left up to one's discretion and sense of generosity on whether or not to leave a tip. I suppose this experience is what is meant by the coined term "fast casual."

Get ready to serve yourself. That was our first surprise. It's clean. It's fast foody but In a class by itself. Easy place to bring kids for a meal of burgers and wood fired pizzas. They have a drive thru window as well. Burgers were ok. Roast chicken was great. Prices were reasonable and it got three stars because although the quality was good it was good burgers and chicken that you serve yourself.

I thought Buckhead's was a fresh spin on fast food. Great variety of wraps and salads. Friendly staff, clean facility. Option anxiety led me to order their combo app of chicken tenders, fried shrooms and homemade chips. Chicken tenders were amazing...everything else was excellent. I could have shared, but it served as lunch and dinner for me.

This is the fast food offshoot of Mariah's Restaurant. I always order the chicken fingers. These are hand-breaded, tender, juicy and always wonderful. The hubby loves their burgers. Neither of us care for the fresh cooked chips so we pay more for French fries. The spinach and artichoke dip is warm, cheesy, and fantastic. It is pricey for self-service but the food is great.

After hearing some mixed reviews we were in the same shopping mall complex and decided to give it a try. The service is okay and it's a place where you order at the counter, sit for a bit, and then go up to the counter and get it when it's ready. Their system seems to work well except that the corner where orders are taken gets a little crammed the way it is set up in a corner of the store. The seating is also a bit odd. It's almost like they divided the seating areas into 2 separate groups with a wall on each side. It really makes one side feel disconnected from the rest of the restaurant since it is facing the outside wall and not the counter or serving area. I had the portabello mushroom panini and it was okay. the portabello pieces were tasty but cut too big. For every mouthful you ended up with a 4" long piece of mushroom trying to escape straight out of your sandwich onto your shirt. But, they did taste good, even if it was a bit messy. My husband had the chicken cordon bleu sandwich which unfortunately came out cold. During the lunch rush this is just unacceptable. You would think as busy as they were a sandwich like this would 1: not be premade and allowed to get cold, and 2: not be allowed to get cold by the volume of other customers there. He also had the buffalo chicken soup which I also got to try. it had good flavor but was quite runny which is a texture neither of us expected from a soup of this nature. We both expected more of a thick base with chicken added in. It was mostly runny with some chicken pieces. This is a shame because the tasty was decent. To wrap it up we did not have a great experience and with their pricing and all of the other great sandwich/soup places out there I doubt we will be going back. Just not worth it.

I've eaten here several times and I really enjoy the grilled chicken bacon wrap or the grilled chicken salad. I don't know what they do to the chicken, but it is delicious. I also love their chocolate chip muffins. The drive through is also pretty convenient.

Very few vegetarian options. Pretty generic tasting, not terrible, but I wouldn't go back.
